COLLEAGUE CAMPAIGN FOR EXPLORING CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Indentifying that colleagues needed a better signpost to opportunities within the business, the internal Colleague Communications team requested an visual guide to promote the various career paths and opportunities in abrdn.
Talking Talent was born and with it an identity that revolved around the concept of paths to be taken and new possibilities that lay ahead. Shoes and arrows formed the key features. The red “Dorothy” shoes in particular became associated with the campaign and appeared on internal information screens and online presentations.

I worked together with the internal colleague communications team to develop the Talent Wheel. Our aim was to present a large amount of information in a concise and easy-to-understand format. We created an interactive PDF version of the Talent Wheel, which was made available to colleagues. This PDF allowed them to click on specific sections of the wheel, which would direct them to pages containing the distilled information.


The Talent initiative was given a dedicated pictogram to use in all internal communications, reflecting the abrdn brand style.
